Baldwin Boats Presents – The 2018 Nangiloc Stress Less Fishing Classic

Ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to get your boats and fishing tackle ready for the 4th annual Baldwin Boat and Nangiloc Fishing Club- Stress Less Fishing Classic held in the Sunraysia region on the  Murray River Held: 10th + 11th of March 2018 The 2017 Stress Less Fishing Classic was a great success, with a record number of recreational fishers attending (some from as far as Melbourne!) and taking home over $30,000 in prizes. The weekend couldn’t have had any better weather with blue skies and warm sunny days. Organised by the Nangiloc Fishing Club they expect the 2018 Stress Less Fishing Classic to attract over 400 anglers from all around Australia to compete for their share in a prize pool worth over $35,000. The 2018 Stress Less Fishing Classic fishing contest is family friendly event and they encourage fishers of all ages! 

The Nangiloc Fishing Club was formed in 2014 by four anglers who wanted to make a difference in the Nangiloc community. The club and the fishing contest is organised and run by a small group of young enthusiastic anglers and would not be able to run without the help of dedicated volunteers from the Nangiloc community. Since inception in 2014, the team of volunteers has established the club, ran three inaugural Stress Less Fishing Classic competitions and have planned numerous activities to raise funds to support the Nangiloc and surrounding communities. The club and fishing competition helps to promote safe and sustainable fishing practices in the community as well as to help support, maintain and develop community projects within the region & the Murray River. An example of this is to maintain and develop the Nangiloc recreational center.
