Moama’s newest festival will launch this May!
For the first time in Australia, our iconic red gum bushland and most legendary river will be illuminated using never seen before sound and light treatments for an original and immersive experience like no other, Moama Lights.
The inaugural festival is a three week celebration of art, light and the community of our twin towns, Echuca Moama.
An immersive sound and light trail starting at the underside of the Echuca Moama bridge and highlighting the natural beauty through Horseshoe Lagoon. As the treeline begins to part, the majestic Murray River will reveal itself, ablaze with colour in a triumphant finale.
Moama Lights is brought to you by Murray River Council and is proudly funded by the NSW Government Streets as Shared Spaces program.
The funding will provide vital economic stimulus to our twin towns and wider region.
Moama Lights runs from 8-22 May and is a free ticketed event. Bookings are essential due to nightly number caps.
Join us on a journey through a field of native flowers, ever changing display of spectacular colours, twinkling stars, floating leaves and local art.
