The Victoria Welsh Choir – World Travellers bring harmonies of the Welsh valleys to the Murray river region of Albury
The much travelled and celebrated Victoria Welsh Choir is coming to St Matthew’s Church in Albury on Saturday 20 August 2022 at 2 pm.
Vic Welsh sing in the distinctive sparkling four-part harmony of the traditional Welsh male choir, and are renowned for the quality of their singing, and the relaxed, informal style, and good humour of their concerts.. Their diverse repertoire includes Welsh, Celtic and popular songs, opera choruses, Broadway melodies and Afro-American spirituals. The choir has toured the UK five times receiving many standing ovations, and regularly tour throughout Victoria and interstate. Their Musical Director, Faleiry Koczkar OAM, is an award-winning conductor who has been honoured by both Wales, and her adopted homeland, Australia.
