Experience creative visions of the future and witness an exciting transformation of iconic Australian landmarks, using spectacular larger than life moving image to explore future themes and science.
Barmera’s Bonney Theatre Projection will illuminate with special new feature shows from sunset through August, as one of five connected sites on the CONSTELLATION Stories in Light Trail.
The free, family friendly, colourful displays will warm up your winter and bring a smile to all as you rove regional South Australia seeking adventure.

When: 1-31 August, 2022, 6pm (watch out for the special transmission from the future in the first 30 minutes)
The ‘stars will align’ along the trail to catapult you into imagined alternative futures.

In this world first, Illuminart’s vibrant regional projections will blaze to life simultaneously at five unique landmarks. Visit all five Constellation sites to experience this special intervention of animated stories that combines local knowledge, ideas and creativity into an epic science-fiction story.
You can also participate in inspiring science related events that connect with the themes of the stories on the trail. This is a perfect opportunity for your family, school or group to enjoy and learn more about each region. Discover the Science Activity trail by visiting our programme website.

BARMERA’S CONSTELLATION PROGRAMME
Barmera’s Light Show brings Science and Art together by revealing the story of the Bonney Lake as told through the eyes of a Murray Cod, and revealing a possible future for the region.

Grab some local tucker, bring your picnic chair or blanket to enjoy the sunset and watch the building light up!
Constellation is an all weather event so come rugged up and bring extra layers.
