Go North Arts Festival – Swan Hill VIC

Go North Arts Festival lets you do it all – sit back and relax to music from Clare Bowditch and others, get your hands dirty with art workshops for all, and rub shoulders with some of Australia’s top artists at the National Print and Drawing Awards.

All held on the banks of the mighty Murray River in Swan Hill, Victoria.

The main festival day is on Saturday, 3 September at Swan Hill’s Riverside Park. There will be live music from an awesome line-up – Clare Bowditch, Benny Walker, The Northern Folk and Freya Josephine-Hollick. Plus, included in festival entry, is access to art workshops, including mosaics, Aboriginal culture and symbols, screen printing, spray paint and stencil, relief printing on fabric, drumming, and painting/drawing. Open to all ages. A licensed event, with food also available.

Other art events – including openings, talks and music recitals – will be held throughout the weekend at Swan Hill Regional Art Gallery. All event will be centered around the National Print and Drawing Awards, a prestigious $16,000 art prize.
