Toby Mobbs to take his new single “Making Lemonade” on a 48 show Regional TOUR
Toby Mobbs On Tour: ‘Making Lemonade’ From A Lemon Of A Year
While Toby Mobbs may not have been playing any shows recently, he has been busier than ever planning his ‘Making Lemonade’ Regional Tour. The Albury singer-songwriter is set to bring a massive line-up of original music shows to smaller towns within New South Wales and Victoria from July to December this year.
The tour will cover 48 separate regional town shows all located within a three-hour radius of Albury, 20 of which are based within the Murray River regions. The shows will feature three sets of his own music written since moving to Albury from his hometown of Wagga Wagga.
A driving force for the tour was the wish to see more shows featuring original music from local musicians. Mobbs hopes this tour will encourage others to do the same and explore new towns and audiences for their music.
The tour is to also promote his debut single by the same name ‘Making Lemonade’ which was released 22nd June. The song was written as a collection of personal maxims to remember during challenging times and to reflect upon when needed. The COVID-19 pandemic has now given new meaning to the song as the whole world is learning how to cope and innovate to make lemonade from the lemons that 2020 has thrown at us all.
