Watch Kane Vincent’s New Music Video ‘When You Comin’ Home?’

Murray river region Musician Kane Vincent has just released his New EP Minute to Midnight out June 24th. First thing you’ll notice is Kanes engaging soulful voice, Then the catchy tunes settle into that place in your mind where you just can’t shake them loose.

Finally, this accidental country artist’s stories of love, acceptance and hope weave their way into your consciousness. His knack for emulating the quintessential country twang especially with his last single on the EP “When you Comin” home? Which is a cheeky, playful tune  aswell as a nod to all those little things said on the phone when you can’t be with the one you love and the anticipation of the moment when you can. Sonically, it’s classic upbeat country blues and it’s the final taste of what’s to come from Kane’s second EP

In relation to the production of the EP it was recorded at Soggy Dog Studios in Upwey, Victoria by Steve Vertigan. Steve mixed the EP, then sent it on to Ross Cockle at Sing Sing Studios for mastering. Guest artists include Peter Maslan (drums), Jason Vorrher (bass, backing vocals), Simon Hosford (electric guitar), Montana Sharp (backing vocals), Hamish Davidson (dobro guitar, fiddle, mandolin, banjo)  and Tommy Jones (piano, keys).

“This EP is the product of understanding that collaboration and sharing has encouraged growth and direction in me as an artist. The EP is bold and celebrates connection through story-telling. In sharing moments with others that we can grow and be our best,” Kane says.

Kane Vincent’s loveable spirit and impressive songwriting and vocals won him the 2019 Bruthen Blues and Arts Festival’s Jam Night, which was the catalyst to launch him into writing and performing more original works. He’s since released his debut EP, I Don’t Think So, in February 2020, opened for Andrew Swift in 2021, started appearing on festival line-ups, including this year’s Tamworth Country Music Festival, making 2022 a big and memorable year!
