THE BEND Karting Open Test Day

Since being completed in 2018, the team at The Bend Motorsport Park has been focused on providing a world-class facility for the Australian motorsport community – including the karting fraternity.

Having hosted the final round of Karting Australia’s National Series – the Rotax Pro Tour – in September last year, the circuit received great reviews and following some minor updates over the past 12 months the venue will host its first ever Open Test Day for competition karts on the world-class CIK specification circuit next month.

The Open Test Day, to be held on Friday October 18, will see the circuit opened for drivers with Karting Australia licences, to participate in the Open Test Day event. The event will commence at 9:00am and conclude at 4:00pm, with 10-minutes sessions split into Seniors, Juniors and Cadets. Dependent on participant numbers, the groups may be further split into more Classes.  All karts and safety apparel must comply with Karting Australia regulations. 

This will be the only Open Test Day event prior to Karting Australia’s inaugural Ultimate Club Racer event being held at the venue on November 1-3, 2019.  A full schedule of Open Test Days on the karting circuit at The Bend Motorsport Park for the remainder of 2019 and into 2020 will be made available soon.
