Back due to popular demand and bigger than ever!

Come celebrate DAY OF THE DEAD or DIA DE LOS MUERTOS with us at Cactus Country. This year we have gone all out, no restrictions, no exceptions and plenty of Tequila!

This traditional Mexican holiday dates back to the Aztecs, honouring the dead through a celebration of life. It’s all about gathering with your loved ones to remember those who have passed and celebrate life itself as the beautiful gift it is!

Our 12-acre Cactus Garden will ooze all things Mexico, which can also be explored after dark so don’t forget a torch!

The entertainment this year will be outstanding, we have lined up Los Romanticos, a Mariachi band from Melbourne who will be playing throughout the event. Around sunset we have organised for a fire dancer from FireLily to perform in the gardens, which will add a touch of excitement to the night!

Mexican inspired food is included in the ticket price, this will be served as canapés throughout the event. Guests will be able to walk around the gardens whilst tucking into some delicious food, or sit in our outdoor bar area listening to Mexican music. You will not leave hungry!

The café and gardens will be decorated with traditional marigolds, altars, sugar skulls and lots of candles. We will also have staged photo areas where you will be able to get the perfect picture to remember this celebration. Dressing up is encouraged, let’s get into the holiday spirit.
