DESCRIPTION:EMTC Junior Duathlon 2018\nThe Junior Duathlon will commence at 9am on Saturday 20th January 2018 at park area adjacent to the Memorial Arch\, Scenic Drive\, Echuca. \nThe event will start from this park. It is an open road event through Scenic Drive and will consist of gravel road ride and gravel path run. All competitors must obey road rules whilst on the bike course. \n– 7-10 years: 400m run\, 2km bike and 400m run – $20.00. \n– 11-14 years: 800m run\, 5km bike and 800m run – $20.00. \nRace day check in opens at 8am at the park area adjacent to the Memorial Arch\, Scenic Drive\, Echuca. \nRace briefing will commence at approximately 8.45am and the first run group will start at approximately 9.00am. \nA parent or guardian is required to be present with any child participating in this event. \nThe cycle includes portions of gravel road\, therefore road bikes are not permissible. Mountain\, BMX or hybrid bikes are recommended. \nChildren should have their own water bottle and appropriate attire including sunscreen and a hat for the run as the weather may be quite hot \n
