DESCRIPTION:Southern 80 “Ski Race” 2019   50th Anniversay\nThe Water Ski Race is back again & takes place on the Murray River between Torrumbarry and Echuca on the second Sunday in February each year. \nThe event is a two up water ski race\, which covers the river from Torrumbarry to Echuca. \nThere are over 120 bends in this part of the river. \nThe race attracts over 500 entries from all over Australia with international representation from New Zealand\, Great Britain and the USA.\nVictoria Park Finish Line. \nFriday 8th February\nBREAKFAST WITH THE STARS \nVenue:   Kerribee Sound Shell\, Moama \nTime:     7am to 9am \nINAUGURAL HALL OF FAME \nVenue:   Victoria Park Finish Line\, \nTime:     6.30pm to 10.30pm \nCost:    $10.00\, children under 15 FREE \nEntertainment provided by Nullabour\, with the formal part of the evening starting at 7.30pm. \nFood\, drinks and a bar will be available. \nSaturday 9th February\nSTATIC DISPLAY \nVenue:   Hare Street Echuca between Anstruther & Darling Street \nTime:     9 am to 1 pm \nRACING \nVic Park Finish Line \nTime: Gates open at  8am Racing starts at 9am – Tap & Go available at the gate \nCost:     One day pass $25.00; Weekend pass $35.00; Children under 15 FREE \n  \n5 Mile boat ramp to Vic Park starting with unlimited Inboard Social through to U/10 Tadpoles. 2pm first boat away in the Bakers Blitz and the Presidents Dash this will determine their starting position for Sunday racing; it is then followed by Veterans and Senior Social. Presentation will take place approximately 5.30pm. \nFEATURES: \nThe finish line features a big screen with live vision from the start line; Southern 80 merchandise; Free jumping castle face painting\, air brush tattoo’s and water slide.  An array of food and beverages\, music by Three’s a Crowd from the end of racing until presentation. \nCourtesy bus from car parking to gate and return all day. \nNO BYO ALCOHOL ALLOWED              NO DOGS \nEFTPOS available at finish line. Tap & Go available at the bar. \nSunday 10th February\nRACING \nVic Park Finish Line \nTime: Gates open at 8 am.
