DESCRIPTION:Spring Ditch 2024\nSpring Ditch! A day of great music\, food\, drink and family fun takes place at beautiful The Stanley Sports Ground in Stanley Victoria on Saturday 2nd of March in 2024. A new take and a tip of the hat to the much beloved and long running Stanley Sports Day with a modern spin. \nHeaps of fun for the kids to the grown ups and everyone in between! It’s a bit old\, and a bit new! \nSpring Ditch is a new music event to be held in the beautiful backdrop of Stanley and showcasing some talented Australian artists. The BMF Rock School will open the event with some of our local young people performing for the first time since 2019. Local community and businesses will be involved on many levels with flow on benefit including fundraising opportunities and increased visitation to the Stanley and surrounding areas. \n \nFamily activities will be run during the changeover time between bands. Fun filled events will be based on the former Stanley New Year’s Sports Day which ceased in 1995 after 145 continuous years of being held at the Stanley Recreation Reserve.
