DESCRIPTION:The Wilson Pickers – “LIVE” Album launch Kerang\nThe Wilson Pickers are a five-piece folk/country outfit consisting of Andrew Morris\, Danny Widdicombe\, John Bedggood\, Sime Nugent and Ben Salter. Each of the five members are acclaimed performers in their own right as well as being sought-after touring musicians with the likes of Bernard Fanning\, Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson etc. \nTogether they perform a blend of folk\, country and blues music with bluegrass instrumentation – mandolin\, fiddle\, banjo\, resonator and harmonica – and stirring five part harmonies. Since forming they have released four albums – “Land of the Powerful Owl”\, “Shake It Down”\, “You Can’t Catch Fish From A Train” and “Live”. \nThe evening will start with a camp oven style dinner\, followed by a full on old fashioned supper. BYO drinks\, tea and coffee provided.
